These forums are here to provide you with a friendly environment where you can discuss ideas, give game play advice, role-play, and converse about any other aspects of IGG other players. This category includes both explicit and masked language on posts, signatures, avatars, nicknames and/or links to websites containing such language or images which:
* Promote racial/ethnic hatred/national hatred  
* Are recognized as a racial/ethnic slur/national slurs
* Allude to a symbol of racial/ethnic hatred/national hatred

* Negatively portray major religions or religious figures

If a player is found to have participated in such actions, he/she will:
* First time, be temporarily banned from the forums from 1-7 days, depending upon severity, and the post will be deleted too
* Second time, be given a final warning, any further Code of Conduct violations may result in permanent ban from the forums


Illegal Drugs or Activities
This category includes both explicit and masked language on posts, signatures, avatars, nicknames and/or links to websites containing such language or images which:
* Reference to abusing illegal drugs
* Reference to performing illegal activities

Extreme Sexuality/Sexual Preference/Violence/Obscene/Vulgar
This category includes both explicit and masked language on posts, signatures, avatars, nicknames and/or links to websites containing such language or images which:
* Refer to extreme and/or violent sexual acts
* Refer to extremely violent real life actions
* Pornography

* Insultingly refer to any aspect of sexual preference pertaining to themselves or other players
* Are an inappropriate reference to human anatomy or bodily functions
* Are pornographic in nature

Inappropriate language  
This category includes both explicit and masked language on posts, signatures, avatars, nicknames and/or links to websites containing such language or images which:
* Are a mildly inappropriate reference to human anatomy or bodily functions
* Are otherwise considered objectionable
* Bypass the profanity filter

If a player is found to have participated in such actions, he/she will:
* First time, be temporarily banned from the forums from 1-7 days, depending upon severity, and the post will be deleted too
* Second time, be permanently banned from the IGG forums


Real Life Threats
This category includes both explicit and masked language on posts, signatures, avatars, nicknames and/or links to websites containing such language or images which:
* Refer to violence in any capacity that is not directly related to the game world

If a player is found to have participated in such actions, he/she will:
* First time, be temporarily banned from the forums from 1-7 days, depending upon severity, and the post will be deleted too
* Second time, be given a final warning, any further Code of Conduct violations may result in permanent ban from the forums

Distribution of Real Life Personal Information
This category includes:
* Releasing any real-life information about other players or SkyUnion Digital Entertainment employees

If a player is found to have participated in such actions, he/she will:
* Be permanently banned from the IGG forums
* First time, be temporarily banned from the forums from 1-7 days, depending upon severity, and the post will be deleted too
* Second time, be permanently banned from the IGG forums

Impersonating a SkyUnion Employee
This category includes:
* Passing yourself off as a SkyUnion (IGG) employee to post false information

If a player is found to have participated in such actions, he/she will:
* First time, be temporarily banned from the forums from 1-7 days, depending upon severity, and the post will be deleted too
* Second time, be permanently banned from the IGG forums

Account and Item Trading
This category includes both advertising your account or item for sale or trade, or advertising that you are looking for an account or characters to purchase through:
* Forum posts
* Linking to eBay
* Listing you have something for trade and then offering your contact information

If a player is found to have participated in such actions, he/she will:
* First time, be temporarily banned from the forums from 1-7 days, depending upon severity, and the post will be deleted too
* Second time, be permanently banned from the IGG forums


Posting Cheats, Hacks, Trojan Horses, or Malicious Programs

This category includes:
* Posting links to cheats, hacks, or malicious viruses / programs
* If you would like to report information regarding cheats or hacks to SkyUnion, send it to service.igg.com. Do NOT post it on the forums.

If a player is found to have participated in such actions, he/she will:
* First time, be temporarily banned from the forums from 1-7 days, depending upon severity, and the post will be deleted too
* Second time, be permanently banned from the IGG forums


Posting Unreleased Content/Hacking Data Files/Private Servers  

This category includes language and/or links to websites containing such language or images which:
* Show unreleased in-game items, equipment, or areas that have been unlocked by hacking into client data files
* Show the results of hacking or any tampering of the game's MPQ files
* Discuss, or display any data not available through normal game play

* Publish links to pirate servers, explaining how to build a private server.

If a player is found to have participated in such actions, he/she will:
* First time, be temporarily banned from the forums from 1-7 days, depending upon severity, and the post will be deleted too
* Second time, be permanently banned from the IGG forums




Harassment or Defamatory

This category includes both explicit and masked language on posts, signatures, avatars, nicknames and/or links to websites containing such language or images which:
* Insultingly refer to other characters, players, SkyUnion employees, or groups of people
* Result in ongoing harassment to other characters, players, SkyUnion employees, or groups of people

If a player is found to have participated in such actions, he/she will:
* First time, be temporarily banned from the forums from 1-7 days, depending upon severity, and the post will be deleted too
* Second time, be permanently banned from the IGG forums

Harassment takes many forms, and is not necessarily limited to the type of language used, but the intent. Repeatedly targeting a specific player with harassment can lead to more severe action. The idea behind this is to prevent any one player from consistently being uncomfortable in the IGG forums.


Spamming and Trolling
This category includes:
* Excessively communicating the same phrase, similar phrases, or pure gibberish
* Creating threads for the sole purpose of causing unrest on the forums
* Causing disturbances in forum threads, such as picking fights, posting provocative remarks, making off topic posts that ruin the thread, insulting other posters
* Making non-constructive posts
* Abusing the Reported Post feature by sending false alarms or nonsensical messages
* Numbering a thread, IBTL, TLDR, or any other fad statements

If a player is found to have been spamming or trolling, he/she will:
* First time, be temporarily banned from the forums from 1-7 days, depending upon severity, and the post will be deleted too
* Second time, be given a final warning, any further Code of Conduct violations may result in permanent ban from the forums

Creating Duplicate Threads
This category includes:
* Creating threads about other existing IGG games
* Creating a separate thread about existing IGG games for further discussion in more than one forum

If a player is found to have been creating duplicate threads, he/she will:
* First time, be temporarily banned from the forums from 1-7 days, depending upon severity, and the post will be deleted too
* Second time, be given a final warning, any further Code of Conduct violations may result in permanent ban from the forums

Plagiarism
This category includes posting and creating topics aiming for your own benefit by using:

* Copying articles, guides, screenshots from external sources without providing credits to the original author.



If a player is found to have been creating duplicate threads, he/she will:
* First time, be temporarily banned from the forums from 1-7 days, depending upon severity, and the post will be deleted too
* Second time, be given a final warning, any further Code of Conduct violations may result in permanent ban from the forums



Advertising
This category includes advertisement of:
* Any non-beneficial, non- IGG related businesses, organizations, or websites

If a player is found to have been advertising, he/she will:
* First time, be temporarily banned from the forums from 1-7 days, depending upon severity, and the post will be deleted too
* Second time, be permanently banned from the IGG forums


Discussing Disciplinary Actions
This category includes:
* Creating posts or threads to discuss disciplinary actions taken against a player, including chat logs and email correspondence between a player and a IGG Forum Game Master (GM)
* Creating posts or threads to discuss disciplinary actions taken against a character or account on the forums

If a player is found to have participated in such actions, he/she will:
* First time, be temporarily banned from the forums from 1-7 days, depending upon severity, and the post will be deleted too
* Second time, be given a final warning, any further Code of Conduct violations may result in permanent ban from the forums

Circumventing a Suspension/Ban
This category includes:
* Posting on another account to do baleful deed
* Having someone post on your behalf
* creating new account after old account banned

If a player is found to have participated in such actions, he/she will:
* Be given temporary banned from posting on the IGG forums


IMPORTANT

* Repeatedly violating any area of the IGG Terms of Use or Forum Code of Conduct, including the areas detailed above, will often result in permanent banishment from the forums.
* This policy is not language-restrictive. Language that falls under this policy will always be subject to the repercussions listed, whether it is inappropriate in English or any other language.

We want the IGG Forums to be a fun and safe environment for all players. Our games belong in the category of Massive Multiplayer Online Role-Playing Games, with the key words being "Massively Multiplayer". In playing our games and posting in the respective game forums, you will encounter thousands of other players who share the same passion, hailing from vastly different backgrounds and cultures. While certain language and images may not be offensive to you, consider the fact that that same language and images may have a completely different effect on someone else. We've done everything we can to make this a great forum but now it's up to you, the players, to breathe life into the world.

2. My account

When you have created succesfully your account, you want to know how to manage it and make it look pretty don't you?
Well this section will teach you how to do so.

First of all, we will search for this two buttons.



1. Member's CP



When we click the link, we will see things such as:
- Your last 5 PMs received
- Your last visit IP
- Your register and last visit date / time.
- Your general information.

2. Edit Profile
2.1 Profile



a) Nickname
Here you can put a nickname of anything you would like to insert here. Can only be added by sailors and higher ranks.

b) Custom Title
Here you can put a motto or maybe a phrase.

c) Gender
As simple as you are a boy or a girl. Or you don't want anyone to know o.O

d) Birthday
Your birthday. (lol)

e) From
Here you can write, "Where are you from?", you can write maybe the country where you live, or maybe put something as from "Hell" o.o

2.2 Personalized



a) Avatar
An image which you like to be under your name. You can use board avatars, or upload an image you like to a pic host (tinypic.com / photobucket.com) and paste the link.

b) Biography
A few words about your life.

c) Signature
An image or a phrase that will appear at the end of all your posts. There are no board signatures, so you will have to upload an image to an image host and paste the link, using the [ img ] "link [ / img ] code.

2.3 Options



a) Topics and Posts per page
Here you can change the configuration of the number of posts and of topics per page. This can make a better view of more topics or even reduce your lag.

b) Signature and Avatar Configuration
You can choose between showing your avatar and signature, or not showing it at all.

c) Image Configuration
Sometimes get too annoying loading a thread with alot of images, well, with this option you can make the img code not function at all.

d) Time offset, format and Date format
You can choose your time zone to be displayed at the top of the forum when you log. You can also change the hour format between 12 hours and 24 hours. Finally you can change the order of the date, yyyy-mm-dd or dd-mm-yyyy and so on.

2.4 Badges



What are badges? Badges are a little image at your profile that mean you won an event, or you got certain rank, certain posts or credits.

Forum Member Badges: Can be applied by anyone who meets the badge requirements.

Original Pioneer Badge

Requirements: Be friendly and active to help others.

Application: Apply for good guy badge and be rated by at least one mod or admin to get the medal. Apply Here
Requirements: Issued 5 or more Digested Guides

Application: Post here the addresses of your works.
Requirements: Issued 10 or more original articles (story, tales, novels. No guides, off-topics), 5 of which obtained more than 50 replies.

What are ranks?
Ranks are a postion on forum, based on your online time, posts, and karma


What are credits?
A number that results from this formula: Credits=posts*0.05+onlinehour*0.1+karma

What is karma?
Karma is a rating you get when you help, do great art work, you make guides or on certain activities. You can further exchange it for award center credits. Here

What is money?
A rating you get from replying to a thread, creating a thread, getting your post on digest and voting on a poll. After you can exchange it for in-game money. Here

What is favor?
A rating any forumer, of rank Cabinboy and above, can give to other players, in sign of appreciation or support.

What are exchange points?
Points exchangable for certain items. (Only for moderators and journalists).

What is permission?
A certain degree, which allows you to see certain threads.

What "signature size"?
The number of bytes allowed for your signature.

What are Statistics and Invisible Mode?

1.1 Plankwalker: This Usergroup got the lowest permission and got almost no rights. Why? They have a ban. You wouldn't like to be in this usergroup

1.2 Newbie: Default usergroup for all members of ToP. You just have to login on the forums to get this rank.

1.3 Cabinboy: After posting on some threads and disccussions you will trun a cabinboy, a usergroup of the not so newbie forumers.

1.4 Sailor:Now, you are a sailor. You have been around a month or less with us, and now you turned a sailor.

1.5 2nd Mate: This rank requires more time and effort. Online time help alot on this rank.

1.6 1st Mate: Rank of people who are already old, one year or more to accomplish this rank.

1.7 Captain: Forumers who have been alot of time on forums, they may have been for more than 2 years or maybe they just were too active. Online time and karma helps alot to upgrade into this forum group.

1.8 Commodore Few have ever seen a Commodore, Forum heroes or Urban legends? Will you be one of them?

2.1 Judge: This rank is specially for people who act as judges when forum events are held.

2.2 Guardian: This rank is for certain people who are in charge of taking care of few sections, mostly server subforums, to make it more enjoyable and maybe one day become moderator.

2.3 Moderator: Group of people in charge of keeping the forum in good conditions.

2.4 Super Moderator: This rank is awarded to those who have shown as moderators their abilities. They can moderate ALL the forum.

2.5 Administrator: IGG official who is the maxium authority at forums.

What is a forum section?
A part of the forum, which got an specific purpose or is directed to specific members.

1. ToP Forum



1.1 News Agency
In this section, administrators post news which refer to game issues, in-game events, maintenances, and also is the place where you apply for bagdes. Only administrators can open a thread here.

1.2 Experience Discussion
Place where many newbies ask for advice to the game veterans. Such as builds, and tips about ToP classes.



a) Guide Centre
Place where all kind of guides are posted. You can find guides of leveling spots, in-game features, class guides, maps, and more.

1.3 Help Center
Whenever you don't know what an item is, or you have a doubt, or need to report a problem, this is the right place to do it. Most of our forum members answer this questions as fast as they can.

2. Pirates' Cove



2.1 General Discussion
Place where suggestions and threads which have to do with most of ToP players is placed. This is also place of some activities done by the mod team.

2.2 Market Place
Section where players write down a list of items they need, they sell or they trade. There are tags so each forum member specify his server.

2.3 Media Room
Part of the forum where our members share their art work, videos, screenshots and even comics related to ToP.



a) Event Zone
Place where forum event are posted and also their results.

b) Journalists Reports
Sub-forum where approved reports are.

c) Writer's Cafe
Sub-forum where members write poems, stories and thier reports before being moved to the other sub-forum.

d) Judge Studio
Section only for judges, where they discuss events coming, and judge events' entries.
