I am currently working on a way to organize and update our guides, and for that I will need all the help I can get.
I will follow some steps in order to make everything the most organized way I can, because of disorganization our Experience Discussion and Guides Center is already fed up. So...

Step 1) I will create a new Guides Index and add relevant links from the previous guides index. (done, link)

Step 2) Clean the DIGEST area
     - outdated/inaccurate guides will have their digest status removed and get a small compensation of karma [+3 karma]
     - an outdated guide can be replaced by a new guide if the new guide is better than it's predecessor.  (this means the outdated will get the digest status removed and given to the new, updated guide)

How can you help?
Search the Guides Center Digest Area (http://forum.top.igg.com/forumdi ... 3&filter=digest) for guides that have been updated and post here like so:

I will then read both guides and switch the digest status.

Step 3) Add new guides to the digest area
     - New, updated and better guides will be given a digest status

How can you help?
Search the open forums (you can focus on Experience Discussion and Guides Center) for guides that haven't been digested and deserve to and post the link here, I will read it and then decide if it's worth digesting or give it a Karma Reward.

Step 4) Add/Remove guides from the new Guides Index
     - Keep updating our guides index with the newest guides
     - Don't let it get flooded with old/outdated guides by removing links to them

Read the Guides Index and notice me if there is something really important missing there or something that should be removed.

Step 5) Maintain and Update existing guides
     - Get the community engaged in the process of updating the guides we already have by providing new info and corrections instead of making whole new guides

How can you help?
You can post here updates for existing guides and I will edit the guide with your new info and credit you on it. Just post the link for the guide and explain the part that should be replaced/added, for example:

This info should be replaced by this:
blah blah blah blah

Add this image for this feature: image url

And remove this info that is outdated: "quote the info".

I'm going to work on a forging encyclopedia, to talk about gems and forging and socketing and pliering and combining... and everything related to forging. Because the guides we have are so old and are basically a copy from PKO guides, and they lack visual appeal. So I'm making a new one.

If is there anyone interested on getting some karmas, the following guides need urgent update, so if you know a link to an updated version of these guides, please post. If there are no updated versions and you have enough free time, you can remake them with updated images and info and I will replace them:

Let's see, if there is any guide missing in the end, after I compile everything we already have, then you can translate and make a new one. But let me get a good overview of what we already have, what is missing and what needs to be updated first. xD
