Gems of Soul in gloves?
Hi everyone ~ so, I've been thinking. There's been some discussion about gems and forging around here lately and in a recent thread, I mentioned the idea of Gems of Soul being a viable option to place in gloves. Why? Simple:
Magic classes have only ONE good option for gems to put in their gloves at the moment: Heart of Black Dragon. They add +500hp, which is nice, but it's still a joke. Melee classes have a lot of options for different gems to put in their gloves, and in fact, in ALL of their gear - nothing is left forgotten. Generally this would apply to magic classes, too - except for the gloves. Apart from BD hearts, there's seriously nothing good we can put in. Sure, there are those +2 stat mall gems, but come on... those are so rare and far too expensive for the stats they add, so they're pretty irrelevant. As for other gems, we just don't need hit rate, we don't need higher max - we deal all of our damage through skills, so it's absolutely pointless (unless you're like a str SM or something, but that's irrelevant here). So, I suggest that some sort of decent spirit boosting gem should be available to gem in gloves - my general idea are souls, but I'm gonna put a few other options here for you guys to choose as well. An alternative, for example, would be to add Cracked Souls as well as Chipped souls. I think this could be okay, too, because even though it would give a maximum limit of 21 spr in total, it fills up all the slots and it's pretty cheap, too. Oh, but for the record, I'm not gonna put Lights on the poll choices, because tbh that just seems really overpowered and I want this poll to be taken seriously. If you still want to vote for them or a different combination of gems than I put in here, feel free to vote for the last option and explain in your comment. So, please share your opinion and maybe we can give IGG/Moliyo something to think about, even if odds are it won't happen, or at least not any time soon ~ |
