Concept of the Event

The Person of the Month is a lifetime event aimed at acknowledging both Players and Forumers. Ultimately, it is to bring to light those who have accomplished a certain standard, either in-game or on forum or both, and to reward them for such accomplishments. The Person of the Month will act as a role model for the entire TOP Community, and he/she will therefore acclaim an everlasting reputation that will shine as a star above the night sky of virtual reality!

Rules of the Event

1 ~ Only forumers ranked Cabinboy or above can participate in the Nominations Round.
2 ~ The event will run from the last week of every month and nominations will end/thread will be locked at the last monday of the month.
3 ~ Only ONE ACCOUNT can nominate; if any user is caught spamming on more than one account, their nomination will be disregarded.
4 ~ You MUST nominate at least TWO Persons of the Month in order for your nomination post to be considered. And a maxium of FIVE.
5 ~ You MUST provide POSITIVE and CONVINCING reasons for your nominations. Attach threads or places where you find this person supporting your reasons.
6 ~ You CAN'T nominate yourself.
7 ~ The winner at the end of every nomination round will be chosen based on a tally of all nominations; Mods and Admins reserve the right for final judgement and rule-alteration without notice.
8 ~ Any Nominee is NOT allowed to be the Winner twice in a row, for example Winner of September can't also be Winner of October and can win once again starting November.
9 ~ If you want to, you can use the hide code by typing "[ hide = 5000]" (without the spaces) before your nominations and "[/hide]" after; this is not necessary, rather an option.
10 ~ Finally, remember that when you nominate someone for a specific month (say November), you're nominating them for their performance for November, not October; which means, if you're not sure how they will perform for the month of November, simply don't nominate until you rest assured that they are the candidate you'd like to nominate.
