So, Halite is the component you need to do a gem-transfer.  Looked it up on PKO:

The description wasn't really clear.  It says, "Enhance level transfer require this, according to the equipment level and socket level."  It should say, "This is what you require to transfer gems from one piece of equipment to another."

Also, what's the Locke's Treasure Map do?  What do you get?

I got an Metal Fragment from this, and it tell to go to tourist wowo... but I dunno what to do what this either

OK, I got a Pirate Compass.

I double click and get "Metal FraGMent" which reads, "An unknown metal piece, its use can be discovered at Shaitan Passer Coral from Shaitan City 846,3499" which is the coordinates of Wowo.

Wowo now has a bunch of options relating to "Precious Deposits".  No idea what to do here.

Metal Fragment. Amass 99 of these and you can go to NPC Shaitan Passer Coral at Shaitan City to exchange for a Precious Deposits Key. You can further exchange different numbers of Precious Deposits Keys for different kinds of treasure, as shown below.

Exchange 1 Precious Deposits Key for 1 Angelic Precious Deposits, which will yield one of the following.
Blacksmith Pliers x 3
Ticket to Winter Island x 10
Angelic Dice 10

Exchange 2 Precious Deposits Keys for 1 Dragon Precious Deposits, which will yield one of the following.
Heart of Black Dragon
Soul of Black Dragon
Eye of Black Dragon

Exchange 18 Precious Deposits Keys for 1 Swiftness Precious Deposits, which will yield the following.
Growth Fast Food x 99

which means so far at least since the fragment dosnt seem to drop from ANYTHING AT ALL..

to even get the "cheapest" option youd have to buy AT THE VERY VERY LEAST 99 of them Locke's Treasure maps. or buy a whole lot from everyone else.

for the most "expensive" withdraw all your money, including savings, sell off your house and cars, sell your kids and wives out to slavers and maybe throw in a few of your own body parts. only after that can you afford to buy AT THE VERY VERY LEAST 28512 Locke's treasure maps. or you could annoy every person on tales of pirates for the rest of your life to purchase one off them, and still never ever get it.
