Ok, so you first turn on the first switch, then you wait a minute and you put it off. Then you put on the second switch and you enter the hut. If the lamp is on, you know it's switch 2, if the lamp is still warm but the light is out then you know it's switch 1 and if the lights isn't on and isn't warm you know it's switch 3

I am doing my best but every time 4/12 +9/12 gives me 13/12 so how the heck it is 12??  And why the results is 13? Tell me how can you split a group of people into 2 where one of them is 1/3 of all and the second one is 3/4. IT IS IMPOSSIBLE!!!!

Ok so lets calculate. There were 13 girls, and they were splited into two groups. First group was 1/3 of this 13 girls so its 13/3*1 = 4,3 girl . The second group is 3/4 of 13 so   13/4*3=9,75.

As a reply to the light post you turn two switches on and leave them on for a while then you turn one of the two switches off. You go inside the hut if the light is on you know it was the switch that was on if the light is off but warm you know it was the switch you turned on and then off, and if the light is off and cold you know it was the switch you never touched in the first place.

If this was already answered I'm sorry but I only read the first page. I'll think of a riddle and edit this post so that you can read it..
