That's one formal way to check.
The other is to just look at the links. They're probably some free domain from iran.

You know,
I've been receiving a bunch of Update your account from PAYPAL but when I check the link it's igg something something. I'm thinking about reporting it to PAYPAL and maybe the FRAUD/SCAM folks.

Who's ever doing it.. going to get BUSTED!! ROFL!!

Global Netoptex, Inc GLOBAL-NETOPTEX-4 (NET-72-172-224-0-1)
72.172.224.0 - 72.172.255.255  HOSTING Company
Skyunion LLC SKYUNION2-GNI-OAK1 (NET-72-172-238-0-1)
72.172.238.0 - 72.172.238.127

These are the only valid ranges connected to IGG/TOP as of this date. So i real email will always be 72.172.xx.xx

its very easy to judge if its from igg or not. Just klick on the link and if you are on ur next log in naked then be sure it wasnt IGG.

=D Thanks for the tips canty! I didn't realize we could check that way xD I usually only look at the links.

@instynk My junk folder is overflowing with PayPal crap too, all linked to IGG xD

@HinkKago The whole point of this is to avoid that happening in the first place, if we did your method, it would be too late, dontcha think?
