Happy Holiday Magazine In Depth

Some Might wonder what is the point in this, this is simple, someone asked it and in order not to have this information to sink into the depth of forum, I decided to make in an "Experience" thread rather than in help...


What is it about ?

It is a common understanding that we have the following gained exp upon usin happy holiday magazine:

Lv 1 - Lv 9: Increase by 5 levels
Lv 10 - Lv 29: Increase by 3 levels
Lv 30 - Lv 59: Increase by 1 level
Lv 60 - Lv 75: Increase by 50% Exp
Lv 76 - Lv 85: Increase by 30% Exp

This is "almost" the truth, but have you ever wondered how it worked ?

Lv 59 with 99% => Lv 60 with 99% ?  Wrong

The table below will show you how much exp you will get and what % you will reach depending on your initial exp.


Main points of interest !

#1 - From level 1 to 59, the gains are in level, you exp will ALWAYS reset to 0%, meaning that using it when ou are not at 0% yourself results in a waste.

#2 - From level 79 (70%) to 79 (99%) a special calculation occurs. I cant explain what happened in developpers mind but it is there. At that point, it is better not to use the HHM

#3 - After level 85 HHM can no more be used, BUT, you can get up to 25% of the lvl 86 if you use a HHM at 85 (99%)

#4 - In terms of pure exp gains:

• It is better to use HHM at 59 than at 60 or 61
• It is better to use HHM at 71 than 72
• It is better to use HHM at 75 than 76, 77, 78 or 79

Yeah, I am making fun here spending my time to make sure firefox users cant see anything...

It just seems that forum nested tables (which is a forum feature) doesnt work on firefox.

I'm going to use pictures inspite of tables then.

And for your information, firefox is way way less that 90%

You can get hhm from credit auction, this is not malling, this is working hard.
You can get hhm from quests on special occasions
You can get hhm as reward for events
...

I bet that mags obtain from Smuggling Bunny's quest long time ago. Very regret that I didn't take that quest..
